As I paint today I am thinking about all of the beautiful places I have lived. I grew up in nature where the views are vast and the color of the skies are overwhelming. My work is the feeling of immense solitude in the vast open spaces of the western United States with its spectacular views of 360 degrees completely surrounding you.
